Local Agency Celebrates 100-Year Anniversary of Pewaukee Office Building
Ampersand has redesigned its office, coinciding with the historic building’s 100-year anniversary.

Ampersand, a strategic marketing, advertising, and growth agency based in Southeast Wisconsin, is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its historic office building. Continuing to invest in the downtown Pewaukee landmark, Ampersand has completed a functional redesign to support the company’s growth and shift to a hybrid work culture.
After nearly 90 years as a Masonic Temple, Ampersand purchased 126 Main Street as their primary office in 2014. “I was looking for a unique office space that fit our company culture,” said Heather Noel, Owner & CEO. “The location in Pewaukee has been perfect for us over the past decade, and this remodel allows us to remain part of the vibrant downtown community as we grow.”
When Noel purchased the building in 2014, she couldn’t anticipate the significant shift toward hybrid work and the unique needs of a culture where people split their time between the home and office. With the help of local experts, CJ Associates (Design and Furniture), Patera Architecture (Architecture), and OneSource Construction (General Contractor), Ampersand made their existing space more functional for today’s business, including remote meeting technology, reconfigured workstations, six new conference and virtual meeting rooms, and added spaces for team collaboration.

That is reflected in our benefits offerings, flexible work programs, and, now with this remodel, our physical workspace as well,” said Brian Odeja, President and Partner. While having worked with Ampersand for 9 years, Odeja became a part-owner in 2023, continuing to advance the company culture. “Today, that means enabling effective hybrid work, building strong development plans, and embracing a strong collaborative culture.”
